The company has not selected any specific business combination target and the company has not, nor has anyone on its behalf, engaged in any substantive discussions, directly or indirectly, with any business combination target with respect to an initial business combination with it. While MELI may pursue an acquisition opportunity in any business, industry, sector or geographical location, the company intends to focus its search for an initial business combination on technology-enabled companies operating in Latin America across a number of verticals, including, but not limited to, commerce, financial services, logistics, healthcare, education, enterprise software and entertainment.
